We serve thousands of individuals and families every year through five main program areas: Workforce Development, Housing, Young Adult Services, Foster Care and Community Services, and Behavioral Health.
For example, a family staying in our Emergency Shelter may need to acquire job skills in order to pay for permanent housing; a young adult seeking employment may need mental health treatment in order to keep a good paying job. This kind of holistic care can all be found under one roof at Auberle.
Our flagship workforce development program, Auberle's Employment Institute (EI), helps individuals ages 14 and older find well-paying, sustainable careers. When individuals graduate from EI, they are equipped to take on the working world.
Our Young Adult Services assist individuals aged 16 through 23 who are aging out of the foster care system. With locations from downtown Pittsburgh to Meadville, our Young Adult Services act as a one-stop-shop for our communities’ young people.
As the largest non-kinship Foster Care agency in the county, Auberle offers strengths-based, trauma-informed, and therapeutic services to children and teens of all ages.
