Career Exposure & Tutoring
Many of our youth lag behind their grade level when they enter The Employment Institute at Auberle. It is often unrealistic that an older youth will be able to move ahead several grade levels in the short time they are with The Institute. We counter this by identifying job shadowing and career exploration opportunities to excite the youth about a career field. Our 646 active volunteers are connected to almost every field that you can imagine for job shadowing. When the youth is excited about a career, we will have one of our 15 professional tutors "target tutor" them so they can master the skills necessary to excel in their chosen field.
