Volunteer Opportunities

When I was a little girl, I heard a song that went like this,
"If I can help somebody as I travel along, if I can cheer someone with
a word or a song. I f I can show someone that thy are traveling
wrong, then my living will not be in vain."

So, that became, in a sense, a motto for my life.
I want to help, cheer, and steer others in their lives.

Perhaps I can help by sharing knowledge that I have acquired through my life experiences.

Perhaps I can cheer someone by sharing my gifts and talents.
Finally, I would love to help steer and direct young people in the
right direction on the road of life.

What Auberle Volunteers Are Saying

Auberle currently has a dynamic volunteer force that is active throughout the organization. We have many specific ongoing, as well as varied volunteer positions available for positive people to get involved with our kids. For all of the volunteer opportunities below please contact Peggy Frye at
412-673-5856 (Ext. 1257) or email at peggyf@auberle[REMOVE THIS].org (address appears this way to reduce spam).

Program Volunteers

We also have Program Volunteers to offer support to families and children in our Foster Care and Family Preservation Programs.

Other volunteers participate in specific pre-arranged group activities such as the Monthly Birthday Celebration, the Spiritual Development Program, One to One Mentoring Program, Family night visitors and our weekly Tutorial Program. The volunteers “team” up with other volunteers to put together regular, on-going activities.

Varied Volunteer Opportunities
For individuals with an interest in helping with our special events, which occur throughout the year, we have varied volunteer opportunities. We rely on our volunteers to help us put on the special annual events that enable our children to have enriched experiences such as Special Santa, Santa’s Workshop, Mayday Madness, and Festival of Fun.

Regardless of the particular volunteer position, all of our volunteers are important to the work that we do with children and families in need. It is our job to identify our children’s needs and then connect them with a volunteer who has committed to helping us meet those needs. We need positive and dedicated people to enable us to make these opportunities a reality to our children.
