January
is National Mentoring Month
Auberle would like to salute our mentors : Sue, Eileen,
Sue, Kathleen, Patty, Paul, Bill, Elaine, and Jack for
their outstanding service to our mission and children.
The mentoring program gives the children a chance to share
their lives with others and also enhances their lives
with opportunities that might not have been afforded them.
Thank Your Mentor Day™ will be celebrated on Thursday,
January 25. On that day, many Americans will reach out
to thank or honor those individuals who encouraged and
guided them, and had a lasting impact on their lives.

Special
Santa
December 2006
The Special Santa Program truly brought everyone involved
with Auberle together for a great cause: to provide all
of Auberle’s children with gifts so they might experience
the joy of Christmas. Special Santa volunteers purchased
gifts from a wish list that each Auberle child makes.
Residential Care children receive their gifts at the annual
Christmas party. Auberle staff made sure again this year
that children in all of Auberle’s programs like
shelter, foster care and in-home services, had their gifts
delivered in time for Christmas.
