Spirituality Services
Auberle, in the Catholic tradition of service, realizes the importance of providing services that are geared toward the spiritual, physical, social and psychological development of the whole person. We believe healthy development must encompass all these elements. Auberle’s Spirituality Department embraces the responsibility of meeting the spiritual needs of children in our residential and shelter facilities.
The spiritual development program centers around three aspects of spiritual growth:
- Promotes one’s relationship with their Higher Power,
- Promotes healthy relationships with other people
- Enables one to apply moral and ethical principles to one’s personal life
Although the program draws in large part upon the fundamental principals of Christianity and precepts common to some of the world's religions, it presents a foundation for moral and ethical living, not a religious dogma. In recognition of our diversity, our approach is to emphasize those values that are positive, ecumenical and inclusive, while respecting one another’s beliefs.
Auberle's Spirituality Services includes these various aspects:
- Spiritual Assessment
- Spiritual Groups
- Spiritual Counseling/Spiritual Direction
- Religious Initiation/Continue Religious Instruction
- Worship Services
- Chorus
- Mime
- Spiritual Retreat
- Youth Fellowship Events
- Tours
