Shelter Services: Removing children from at-risk situations

Auberle believes that all children have the right to be safe and protected. When a crisis or dangerous situation occurs, Auberle provides immediate shelter services for children in need. Our doors are open all day, every day. We never turn a child away.

Auberle offers two kinds of unique Shelter Services:

  • Auberle's Shelter Program provide safety for children ages 7-12 for 30 days or less until proper living arrangements are made.  During their time with Auberle, they attend school, receive mental health assessments and learn how to control anger and behaviors that are the result of previous crises.

  • Auberle's Hartman Male Shelter is designed to provide a safe and secure shelter specifically for boys ages 12-18 for 30 days or less until the proper living arrangements are made.  This program provides a structured environment for boys who have been in contact with law enforcement and who are awaiting placement or return home after their next court hearing.
