Second Annual Spelling Bee

On June 2nd Auberle volunteers presented the Second Annual spelling Bee.  To say the evening was ”inspiring” would be an understatement.  Although one thinks of this particular academic venue as being about “Spelling words":  it is so much more!  The eleven residents that competed showed perseverance, patience and more importantly team support.  It was amazing to see the boys rooting for each other and cheering for the finalist.   The volunteers and staff are glowing with pride for the children who participated.  The goal was to allow the children to participate in an “Academic Challenge” and give them strength and self-confidence.  Suffice it to say that we believe that goal along with many other positive feelings came out of the event.  Everyone involved came out a winner.
