Auberle hosted a dedication for a series of murals created by Auberle youth on Nov. 23, 2011  at the Westmoreland County Courthouse. This project was born from the creation of courtrooms with white walls in Westmoreland County. Westmoreland County judges and friends of Auberle, The Honorable Judge Driscoll and The Honorable Judge Feliciani, approached Auberle about having the organization’s youth create a series of bright, colorful murals to hang in the courtrooms and decorate the facility.

Auberle and the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (GRG) Program hosted a tribute and luncheon to grandparents who are raising grandchildren in McKeesport and Mon Valley communities on Nov. 19 at Auberle’s main campus. Lynne Hayes-Freeland, reporter for KDKA-TV news, was the guest speaker. The event’s special honoree was Della Meekins who has raised grand, great grand and great great grandchildren besides providing services to other children and the community.

On Sept. 13th, eight volunteers from Duquesne Light volunteered their time to help prepare for Auberle's new Therapeutic Challenge Course.

Auberle received a donation of hundreds of bookbags from Huntington Bank to help prepare our children to head back to school.

On August 12th,  Auberle welcomed 20 volunteers from the U. S. Steel D.R.E.A.M. Team to its campus.

On Friday, August 5th, 40 volunteers from Eaton Corporation’s Moon Township location, spent the day beautifying Auberle’s Main Campus on Hartman Street.

Amanda Potts, member of the St. Mark Youth Group in Port Vue, PA, wanted to do something special for the boys and girls at Auberle.
