Meet Trenton
Meet Trenton, an 8-year-old boy who participated last year in the Auberle SNAP® for Boys Program. Upon entering the program, he had a lack of self-control in school and anger issues which got him into a lot of physical and verbal confrontations with his classmates and teachers. The last straw came when Trenton became very angry in school and kicked his principal. Trenton was then transferred to another school district.
This was Trenton's turning point. SNAP® laid the foundation and techniques for Trenton to learn coping skills to avoid trouble and to make his problems smaller instead of bigger. With patience, commitment and compassion, the Auberle staff has given Trenton what he needed to make a fresh start.
Now-a-days, you can find Trenton focused, well-managed and boasting an improve attitude and coping behaviors. Trenton's social interaction has drastically improved and his peers now love to be around him. Trenton's academic performance has also drastically improved. He has a future goal of becoming a SNAP® L.I.T. (Leader in Training) which would give him greater responsibility and a chance to be an example to his siblings and peers. Way to go Trenton!
