Jeanne Burger has always had a love for Foster Care. She and her husband, Jim, adopted a baby when they thought they could not have one of their own. As often happens, when the adoption was being finalized for their first daughter, they welcomed their first birth child - a beautiful baby boy. When their children were three, Jeanne and Jim began fostering teenagers. They fostered 18 children over the next 16 years, adding a boy and a girl to their family permanently as well as two more biological children. Jeanne taught school for 20 years and worked part-time for a foster care agency in the position she currently holds at Auberle as a Foster Parent Recruiter/Trainer for 12 years. Jeanne has been with Auberle since 2008. With years of experience as both a foster parent and a foster recruiter/trainer, she adds a unique understanding of what is necessary to be a successful foster parent.
