Helping Young Men and Women to Flourish as Young Adults
At
Auberle, we recognize that development of relevant life
skills, post secondary school preparation, and work readiness
are all key areas for adolescent development in order for
a successful transition to adulthood.
|
Auberle’s
Vocational Program provides essential skills and support
to young men and women between the ages 16-18 in order
for them to successfully transition to life as young
adults. The Vocational Program helps young people achieve
success in life by preparing them to enter the workforce,
consider future careers, and prepare them for further
education.
|
|
The
Vocational Program’s philosophy is to provide a structured
environment where young men and women can learn independent
living skills and explore career paths while continuing to
work on their social development and academic needs.
Using
these tools for success, students involved with the Auberle
Vocational Program strive to succeed by gaining secondary
school diplomas or Graduate Equivalency Degrees. Many continue
on to post-secondary education, advanced training, military
service, or a qualified apprenticeship.
The
Vocational Program offers youth Life
Skills Classes, Culinary Arts,
and a Computer Graphics and
Design Program.
