Position Overview: The Gift Processor works to support the efforts of the development department by ensuring that all donations are accurately recorded, acknowledged and reported. The position also ensures that all investor information is kept up to date and in an organized manner that makes it easy to access and utilize strategically.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Promote the philosophy and mission of Auberle in the provision of all responsibilities.
- Execute the donation booking/monthly reporting standard operating procedure. Ensure accuracy in the recording, acknowledging and reporting of all donations.
- Prepare monthly donor reports for Director of Development and Auberle’s finance department
- Manage the agency contact database ensuring that all data is accurate, analyze the process for managing contact data and make suggestions for improvement.
- Responsible for executing the department’s acknowledgement matrix.
- Responsible for maintaining all donor files.
- Assists with donor management by keeping the department informed about donations made by new and established investors.
- Conduct preliminary research on prospective corporate, foundation and individual donors and manage these contacts in donor database.
- Partner with Director of Development and Development Associate II to assign necessary MOVES to manage prospect cultivation.
- Responsible for all contact management including but not limited to list generation for agency communications and invitation to events.
- Coordinate the direct mail program to include list creation, segmentation, coordination, execution and report results.
- Work with Director of Development to maintain and report on department statistics.
- Promote the Continuous Quality Improvement philosophy; maintain and analyze the data necessary to promote quality improvement.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and respect for the cultural diversity of consumers, volunteers, staff and other stakeholders.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director of Development.
