On Oct. 1, 33 volunteers from American Textile Company volunteered their time to help with a brand new initiative at Auberle. The crew worked in the cold and rain to build storage sheds on Auberle’s main campus to store equipment for the agency’s new Therapeutic Ropes & Challenge Course. So much more than merely storage sheds, these sheds accompany a project that will help children learn the difference between a good touch and a bad touch, increase their sense of trust and communication skills. The Therapeutic Ropes Course will serve as a new tool for Auberle therapists to help them provide faster, more effective care to children. Our volunteers played a huge role in the launch of this new program. Thank you to our volunteers from American Textile Company for helping to make this new opportunity available to our kids and families.
