SNAP™ AIDE - (PART-TIME) 		 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a secure and healthy environment for all clients.
  • Serve as a positive role model to all boys in the program.
  • Provide transportation via agency vehicle for youth and their families to and from the program, document transportation according to guidelines and maintain agency vehicles.
  • Supervise youth and families on agency van with driver to and from the program, and escort youth and families to groups.
  • Provide crisis intervention, including employment of physical restraint techniques as needed.
  • Assist child and family SNAP™ workers as needed.
  • Attend and participate in all staff meetings and trainings, as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One-year experience working with youth is required.
  • Demonstrated computer knowledge of Outlook, Internet and Word/Windows environment.
  • Ownership of a reliable vehicle, valid PA driver’s license and proof of insurance. Acts 33 & 34 required. Must be 21 years of age.
