MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST - (LICENSED)
 

Job duties:

  • Experience working with sex offenders preferred.
  • Make initial and/or ongoing assessment of client and family strengths.
  • Schedule and facilitate therapy to families and co-facilitate family support groups.
  • Actively work with families of children to improve communication, improve relationships, and facilitate reunification.
  • Participate in the developing and/or implementing the Individual and Family Treatment Plans.
  • Complete all paperwork and accountability reports.
  • Provide on-call case coverage.
  • Facilitate specialized groups.
  • Attend court hearings and outside agency meetings as directed.
  • Participate in all related psychological appointments.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and computer).

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling field.
  • Preference given to candidates with an additional one-year experience in the treatment of children and youth.
  • Ownership of a reliable vehicle, a valid PA driver’s license and proof of insurance are required
