Nearly
200 people attended the 2006 Make A Difference Day
Auberle Bingo on October 28, 2006. All who were involved
can be proud that this year's bingo raised over $10,000
and provided a day full of entertainment, food, and
fun for everyone.
The
Make A Difference Day Bingo has quickly become an
Auberle tradition since its inception in 2003. The
bingo is entirely run through the generosity of volunteers,
and the Make A Difference Day Auberle Bingo has been
recognized by local and national media, along with
the Points of Light Foundation for two consecutive
years as an outstanding Make A Difference Day event.

year's celebrity caller was Sally Wiggin from
WTAE-TV. The bingo also included a guaranteed
jackpot, Chinese auction, bake sale, and on-going
raffle for a signed Steelers football, Pirates
baseball, and Penguins hockey puck. |

Proceeds
from Auberle’s Make A Difference Day Bingo will
directly benefit the children that Auberle serves.
This year’s proceeds will be applied to a the
construction of a new pavilion on the grounds, to
serve activities such as tutoring, family visits,
crafts, and events such as Festival of Fun and May
Day Madness.
