In Her Own Words

Hi my name is Anna. When I lived with my mother and father there were major problems. I was placed in foster care when I was 6 years old. I moved many times until I got to Auberle.

I am now 14 and have been in Auberle for a year and a couple months. I have been able to change my entire behavior and learn from that. Auberle has made me become a better person. It taught me how to control my anger and deal with depression. It made me realize that there is a God

I do something great with the staff, I go over a scripture every night. I think it helps me realize I could get a family. Auberle always has a good word for me and I have I learned a lot while I have been here. When I leave I will always think about this place. I will look back and realize that I can do better.

I will sit down and tell my family what I learned about Auberle and that there was an angel guiding me and telling me right from wrong. There was staff here to teach me and I am very grateful. I thank God for putting me in Auberle because it is the best placement I have been in yet. I’m proud of it. I do a lot of things now such as going to an outside school, cheerleading and doing things right.
