“An Evening of Champions” – 20th Annual All Star Banquet

The achievements of Auberle’s children were celebrated on April 19, 2006, in an evening sponsored by Bishop Donald W. Wuerl, The Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh & Respironics. More than 300 people attended to recognize academic success, citizenship, athletic prowess and more. In total, 85 awards were given to children in categories ranging from recognition of graduating seniors and essay awards to sportsmanship and leadership awards.

The spotlight was on our “champions” from the moment of arrival where they were greeted by the “press corps,” treated to a special dinner and then recognized individually. Under the guidance of event chair, Kathleen Miclot, children of all ages declared the evening a success.
