Many of Auberle's foster
families find that the experience of caring for a child in
need love and support is one of the most rewarding experiences
of their lives. In some cases, our families choose to adopt
children in their care. Auberle's foster care department congratulates
three of our families who will be doing exactly that before
the end of the year.
Joe and
Laura Wolski will be adopting twin girls, Bailey and Melody,
on November 17th in Westmoreland County. Since day one of
the children being placed in their home, they have loved and
nurtured these girls as if they were their own. They have
upheld the foster care mission by continuing to maintain a
positive relationship with the birth mother throughout the
placement and will continue to do so once the adoption is
finalized. The Wolski's will be having a banquet in order
to celebrate their family additions.
Mary Kay
Matlos will be adopting Rebecca, a little girl that she has
had since she was three months old. She is now three years
old and the joy of Mary Kay's life. Her adoption will take
place on National Adoption Day, which is November 18th. Mary
Kay will be throwing a Princess Party for Rebecca to celebrate.
Harry
and Cynthia White will be adopting Owen, who was born premature
this past January. The Whites began to bond and love Owen
while he was still in the NICU at Children's Hospital. Thanks
to the wonderful care he has received since being placed with
them, he has been able to experience a loving and caring environment
that all children deserve. He will also be adopted on November
18th, National Adoption Day. The Whites will be having a family
celebration to welcome their new son.
Auberle
wishes to congratulate Cyndee Frizzi and Farrah Penn, who
have done an outstanding job with the children, and with the
foster and biological families.
